Welcome!
This website has been created for my students at TURISTICA - Faculty of
Tourism (University of Primorska, Slovenia). It provides basic
information about the courses I teach. English
for Tourism is taught in all three undergraduate programs -
Tourism
Destination Management (MTD in Slovene),
Business Systems in Tourism (PST in Slovene)
and Mediation in Tourism (MET in Slovene).
Please choose the program and follow the appropriate link above to
learn more.
English for
Tourism II & III were
taught in the old program of Tourism & Hospitality. The link will
take you to my previous website. (It is no longer updated. Sorry.)
On your right you can find a few helpful tools. These
little gadgets can
help you look up words in dictionaries, thesaururses and
encyclopedias at www.macmillandictionary.com,
www.dictionary.com or www.thefreedictionary.com.
You can also look up words in Cambridge dictionaries online,
or
listen to a text of your choice if you click on the vozMe megaphone. I hope
you'll find these useful.
