Internet for travel and tourism is a website created for students of tourism that is really worth exploring. It was created by Philip Rowe for Intute.

By following the tutorial and the links on this website, you can learn the things that every serious student of tourism should know about. The tutorial is written in a clear language, well structured and the links it provides broaden your horizons. I’m sure these resources will help you learn about things that matter in the world of travel and tourism and write better assignments.

The Connected Traveler is a website worth visiting as you can find blog posts, reviews, guides to destinations and comments of travellers, podcasts and videos about travel (by owner Russell Johnson) and ethical travel and much more.

How about staying connected and telling what you think about the site as a comment below? Would you like to discuss anything from this website during our classes?

Two exciting sites for students of tourism interested in travel agency business.

Travolution offers news, blog posts, in-depth analysis, case studies and more – topics that budding travel agents will definitely find interesting and valuable.

TW Academy is actually owned by the same company as Travolution (and the Travel Weekly), but its mission is different. They offer free online courses for travel agents. The 60 courses they offer are organized based on the destination they cover. You want to learn what matters if you want to be good travel agents? This is the site for you.

The looks are new again. Sorry if you liked the previous one. I just thought a 3-column template would do a better job.

As you can see, there are a few RSS feeds on the right. They show the latest titles from newspaper travel supplements and the latest travel news. These will change automatically when new items are published. By clicking on the titles you can read the articles on the newspaper’s website. I hope you’ll enjoy this new feature.

I’m planning some other changes for the autumn, so if you have any suggestions yourselves, please let me know.
